I agree and only my last example shows the safest way to manipulate an observable created from an HttpClient method.

I wanted to show the different approaches I've encountered through the projects I've been involved in. Some are inefficient, some are good, and some others are just bad. As a developer, I'm relentless advocate for declarative programming in Angular.
